So I was recently in a coma, from high sodium D: my hypernatremia level was 180. Left me with extremely severe amnesia of both kind. AMA!

Could you hear people talk to you?
Was it by like sleeping? Were you tired when you came round
Did it feel like waking up from anesthesia when you came out of it? Or how so, if not?
how long were you in a coma?
what was it like it like getting adjusted being back?
What’s the last thing you can remember before amnesia?
Who’s the first person you saw when you woke up, and what was their reaction?
So AMA but my answer to every question will be “idk I don’t remember”…?
What is one thing about being in a coma that you wish more people knew?
Do doctors think that you’ll eventually get at least part of your memories back?
What’s the first thing you can remember that happened to you after you came out of the coma?
What was the cause that put you into a coma?
Did you end up getting some of your memory back, or you had to learn everything from the beginning? Like who you are, your name, what reddit is, or what smartphones are and what the internet is? Did you need to learn basic skills again? Like using a spoon, what a doctor or a hospital is?
How was it like learning to walk again?
Are you sure you’re not still in the coma? This could all be a dream.
Which goes for all of us.
I was in a coma for 3 weeks and had lots of weird dreams. Did you have any?
And you’re ok now? Is there anything you can do about amnesia?
Did they tell you what caused the high sodium
Do you consider developing some skill/gift?
