Biomedical equipment techs are surgical techs now? lol
Ever heard any conversations that shocked you?
What range of surgeries are you involved in?
Are you worried the new BBB law will threaten your job?
What kind of equipment do you work on?
Is your gross out reflex gone now?
Do you feel respected by the people with more schooling in the hospital?
Interesting. In Australia, a biomedical tech inspects the equipment from an electrical safety standpoint. A surgical tech went to uni for proper training in the OR. How were you properly trained?
What’s the pay like?
How did you go about getting the job with no past medical experience? Did you go to college for anything tech related?
I love the organization and got mad in my last surgery that they knocked me out right after I got in the room and said I admired it.
What org systems have you learned and applied at home (if any)?
