I usually just buy a few things and want to get in and out as quickly as possible.
I used to live next to a store with a great self checkout. Walk in, get what I want, scan, apple pay™️, and walk out. 1min max.
Now I moved and in front of me are always 20 grandmas who can‘t wait to talk to the casher, pay exclusively in low denom coins and always have a full shopping cart. No self check out.
