I write erotic stories for women but with ulterior motive…

r/

I still can’t help myself. Once I realized that I could write a story hot enough to make most women want to touch themselves, it quickly became my obsession. It always turned me on so much hearing how wet it made them and how they couldn’t help but to give themselves immediate relief. Knowing they were getting off to my stories got me off, and further compelled me to always want to outdo myself with an even better, more erotic tale. Now I have a collection of stories that I’m forever trying to share. It’s become an addiction, seeking out women to feed the stories one by one, wanting only to hear them speak of how turned on they get. Surely this must be some form of sex addiction?

Sounds like writing started as a creative thing but turned into more of a craving for attention or validation. Nothing wrong with writing erotica but if you’re feeling addicted to the reactions, it might help to talk to someone and figure out what’s really behind it.

Honestly, it does not sound too bad. I mean, I expect everyone who writes erotica does that to turn people on, and because of the subject – I hope they do the whole thing with being at least someone into it themselves.

And then, look at what people who put themselves out there do – so many crave validation and the love of their audience. If you write music to dance to, wouldn’t you be happy to see people dance to it? There are stadiums full for just this…

But, as you wrote it has become an addiction. Let the shame go and go to a good therapist that resonates best with your struggle. It might not have the same roots as other addictions – read the introductions of the therapists and you will feel it which one talks to you.

Addiction isn’t always about drugs or alcohol. When something controls your thoughts or actions to a point where you feel you can’t help yourself, it’s time to ask for help. The earlier you catch it, the better.

Not sure it’s an addiction. Writing is a creative outlet, and we all want our creative work to be seen, heard, read, felt. So far, that’s quite normal I guess.

    Now. Some questions.

You just publish your stories waiting for people to find them, or you actively send them out to women?
You actively seek out feedback, ask women to describe what the story did to them and how they used it?
What’s your alias? You’re a man pretending a woman wrote the stories?
In which way are your stories a representation of your own fantasy, in which way are these stories a subtitute for a sex life or a partner you don’t have?

Honestly, it depends on *why* you share them, how pushy you are, etc. I’m someone who writes smut (short stories/audio scripts) that I then share with friends for feedback; they’re about my niche ablutophilia kink, and I make sure to only share them in a Discord with friends. 90% of the people in my life don’t even know I write these stories in the first place either. I like the feedback, and sharing my written work with others feels meaningful.

That being said, if you’re just in it for your own sexual gratification, are pushing your stories onto these women, or are misleading them in some way, then you should reconsider because that isn’t a good thing. But if you’re not hurting anyone and it’s all consensual, there’s nothing wrong with writing. You will need to work on the addictive aspect of it, but writing smut in itself isn’t sinful or wrong. Despite what purity culture claims.

    I hope this helps OP

Isn’t that the point of writing erotica though? Turning people on with your stories? I don’t think this is such a bad thing lol

A dual benefit to the lady and to you, as it gets the stories out to us all, when you publish!

Yikes, I wrote erotica for almost a year before I moved to romance and then other genres. I also have done erotic VO for a long time and I consider myself pretty good at writing sex scenes of many varieties after 8 years publishing. Have you ever read erotica before? Erotica for women? You aren’t getting women off with the stuff in your profile. You need to read other people’s work. You need to read erotica for women. I mean you seem like you have potential to get there but if you actually want to get better at it, you need to study others and work on your writing. I think the people that go out there and just put stuff out cause they want to and never want to learn suck because reading is an investment of someone’s time and if you just are doing it to stroke your own ego, write in a journal. If you want to get women wet and wild then you gotta learn what gets them wet and wild. Not that.
