Long story short I have someone stalking me ,pressuring me for sex and successfully derailing my social life to distress me. I’m filling for exparte and added all the proof I can and statements from one the the people they spoke to.
If I get my stalker to admit to saying what they did in a screen shot would that help me get the order granted without going ho court? I have had them blocked for a month and do not wish to unblock them as she could claim I still want to.be in contact. I’m wondering if a screen shot from someone else will work if not how much would it hurt my case to unblock her and get her to admit to her actions.

I assume you are trying to get some kind of PPO. There are several different types, but all can be granted ex parte. If you are alleging you could be harmed if it isn’t granted quickly, and you can convince a judge, it may be granted without a hearing. You will have to file it however your local court that handles PPOs requires. You can include any kind of evidence you think will show this other person as being dangerous or threatening.
I would point out that if you are denied and want them to reconsider, you will have to go to a hearing. If your PPO is initially granted, the subject of the PPO can file a motion to set it aside and you would have to go to that hearing.
A screenshot from another person won’t hurt, but the judge might disregard it as hearsay.
It would not be a bad idea to unblock her to compile evidence. You should not engage with her, except perhaps a one-time message telling her to stop harassing you. Mute notifications and hide the conversation to the extent possible so you don’t have to see them come in.
An ex parte order is a short-term, temporary emergency order and requires you to show a likelihood of immediate and irreparable injury if it is not granted. You can re-file on a non-emergency basis if it’s denied, and the defendant can request a hearing if it’s granted. Either way, you would have to go to court for a hearing.
