If I started a business, non-profit, startup, etc., while studying at a school, could they claim my IP?

Location: Massachussetts

As the title says, if I were to start a business/non-profit/start-up while being a student at a school, do they have any rights over my IP? What if I were to use a family member’s university(different school) issued computer
+ university wifi to work on the project? Would said university have any right over my IP, even though I don’t go there?

IF any school did claim my IP, could I sue to get it back?
