Practically the title. I am a 24 year old male who has never had sex, kissed etc… I am straight and i do…. enjoy my own time a lot with adult content but i have never actually wanted a real life relationship nor have i ever pursued a woman in real life or anything close to it. Nor have i ever had a friend that was a woman. How can this happen when it seems like people usually equate sex/relationships as being as strong as a desire as food?

Do you watch porn? I realize now that using porn in my youth caused this for me.
Porn decreases the desire to go out and find a mate. Up until recent decades porn was difficult to access. As a result, nature took over. I imagine you will feel differently if you take time away from it.
This is very normal. Could be asexuality but could also just be a lack of experiences.
I’m not the go getter type either, but I did feel more of a compulsion to date after having my first actual mutual crush. Didn’t work out though, but I learned more stuff about myself. Sometimes, all it takes is one person or one good experience to set you on the journey.
Relationships are important, but we only really understand them or want them based on what we’ve experienced or seen compared to something like food. Don’t worry about it though, you’re fine.
If you aren’t interested in getting a relationship that’s fine, you do you brother. You’ll save a lot of money
Men aren’t “supposed” to be anything. If you feel healthy and life is fulfilling to you then go with it. Using some generic standard against yourself is just a set up to be disappointed and dissatisfied.
Finish grammar school first then try chasing women!
