Leningrad Cowboys backed by the Red Army Chorus. We’ll never see the likes again.

I didn’t experience this, but Paul McCartney discusses seeing Jimi Hendrix on a Tuesday night in a club, then going back on Friday and in the audience was Clapton, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, etc…. That would be amazing.

Bob Seger was my first concert and I’ll never forget the feeling looking at thousands of people in one stadium. There was someone throwing a frisbee and a ball around. I was 16 (this was when Bob Seger cut his hair short)

Another one was Scorpions. My brother went to see Pink Floyd the Wall in Potsdamer Platz East Berlin and brought home two masks (The scorpions played there too)

So we were at the Scorpions after the wall and holding up our pink floyd pig cardboard masks and people were looking at us, but i’ll never forget the lead guitarist taps the lead singer’s shoulder and points at us and they nodded at us. It was wild!

It’s not so much revisiting the ones I saw, but getting a chance at the ones I missed.

NIN/David Bowie. I was there but wasn’t exactly there. All I remember from the show was sobering up for a few seconds to hear them duet “Hurt”.

1978, Queen at the Oakland Coliseum. Dropped acid for the first time and while I had a blast, I wish I remembered it better.

I’ve seen Styx live in 74 and 75, the Doobie Brothers in 75 and many more but the best concert was 1994 in Indianapolis to see Pink Floyd. I was definitely comfortably numb

Stevie Ray Vaughan. I saw him years ago, and he had laryngitis and couldn’t sing, so instead he and the band gave us 2 hours of non-stop intense wild blues. The place was ROCKING! One of the best concerts I’ve ever been to.

I am a big blues/jazz fan. I saw Mose Allison at Paul’s Mall in Boston in 71. He played Steamroller Blues by JT when it barely known. Also, Parchman Farm. Unforgettable.

I would love to relive the concert.

We had the Jim Rose freak show going on at the outdoor theater. The acid was good, and the music was beyond perfect.

Pink Floyd, Toronto, 1988 … momentary lapse of reason tour.

Me and two of my best friends saw the show… it was an absolutely perfect day, and the single best concert I’ve ever seen.

Live Aid in London. I was just out of college, and a friend secured me tickets. I didn’t realize it would be as big (in terms of the stadium and the length of time) as it would be. I now wish I’d appreciated it more at the time.

ELVIS. I saw him in concert just before his weight gain. He was bigger than life. No other artist comes close to what Elvis delivered on stage. Besides his voice and charisma, he had a presence, an aura, that no other artist has ever matched. Not one. And Elvis was an Adonis. The best-looking male ever created. A hunk, a hunk, a hunk of burning love…

    Journey Escape tour

The Bad Brains in 1987. HR had broken his arm. They had him taped to a desk. The Butthole Surfers in 87 or 88 at UB. I had ridden Greyhound from Rochester and there was a cool-looking girl a few seats ahead me. I had wanted to walk up and ask her if she was going to the show, but she moved away quickly at the bus station and I didn’t want to creep her out by chasing after her.

Turns out she was Kathleen, the weird girl who followed them around on tour to dance naked on the stage at their shows.
