If you were to move away from your current city or area, what are three food or drink places you would make sure to go to if you were to revisit the city?
Oh yeah. I miss Bazbeux Pizza in Indy, Mesh, Yats, and King Ribs (they aren’t the absolute best ribs but my friend’s dad used to own it so it has a lot of nostalgia).
Laredo taqueria for the breakfast tacos. Good picadillo, good nopal, good fajita, tastes like home. Once saw a guy skipping on house arrest in line there and I get it.
Crawfish and noodles. They tell it like it is in the name.
Blood brothers bbq, three Vietnamese dudes from an immigrant suburb mixing Texas cue with Asian and Mexican food
I moved from Austin to London and when I go back I have to have Via313, Fonda San Miguel, and Tacos Juanita. And for drinks it’s just Pinthouse all the way.
That one Chinese food place by my old apartment that I don’t know the real name of but slaps hard.
I have a friend that moved out of Philly not long ago and when he comes to visit, he actually does stuff like this. One of the places he likes to hit is a BBQ joint near my house if possible. I think I’d miss that place, too, if I couldn’t get good jerk salmon somewhere else.

There’s only one bar as far as food and drinks go, so there.
None where I live now. But when I’m back in San Diego I go to any __berto’s as much as possible.

I’ve moved away from my home city. I always go to Jimmy Z’s Pizza, the Carriage Inn, and Pamela’s (I’m from Pittsburgh)
Pike Place Market for the variety of great eats. Then probably Mr. Gyro. Finally, I’d have to have Seattle Teriyaki, preferably in the U District.
Stop 1 would be for culichis
Stop 2 would be for birria
Stop 3 would probably have to be In n Out if I moved somewhere without it.
