Don’t know if this is the right community for this question but I didn’t know where else to ask, I’m currently filling out my packet for my background investigation and I have a page to disclose all of the (if any) illegal drugs I may have consumed.
I have only ever smoked weed, and that was years ago, but alongside that, I also attempted to take LSD, I say attempted because it turns out it was actually fake/bunk LSD so literally nothing happened, I didn’t get high, I didn’t feel different, I didn’t get visuals, I took it and was completely sober, like if I never even attempted to take it at all.
Should this still be something I should disclose on my packet and with my background investigator? I honestly don’t know, because I of course took it with the intention of tripping, but since it was fake I didn’t trip and nothing happened. I don’t want to be disqualified for omitting information or lying, but I don’t know if it’s technically lying since I never experienced effects from the drug.
Somebody please help me out.
To clarify this was a one time thing, I attempted to take LSD this one time and afterwards when it didn’t work I never tried to ever take LSD again.

You took it with the expectation that it was an illicit substance, meaning that you would have been fine if the substance turned out to actually be LSD. Be straightforward about it.
Is there a polygraph?
It’s best to be honest now rather than to get found out on the poly and get a forever dq for lying on the packet
