I’m 18M, she’s 18F. We recently started dating, but before that we were best friends (boy bsf + girl bsf kind of thing). We’ve hung out a few times before but this will be our first official date. I suggested Friday or Saturday and she said yes.

I’m feeling really nervous and overwhelmed. I don’t know what to plan or where to take her. We’re both still young, don’t have cars, and I want to keep it affordable but meaningful. She’s picky with food, and she loves things like letters, handmade gifts, and thoughtful stuff. She doesn’t care for expensive things just stuff that means something.

I was thinking of making her a DIY flower with a note since I can’t really carry real flowers around the whole date, and I want to give her something personal.

A few questions: What are some good, low-budget date ideas with no car? What should I give her as a gift? (Preferably DIY) What should I do when I first see her? Compliment? Hug? What’s a good way to start the date? Any advice to calm down the nerves?
