I’m 32 years old and I wasn’t able to work because of health issues. Because of these issues I also wasn’t able to study the way I wanted and to do some hobbies that I wanted. My health issues have affect my life negative in many aspects, socially too. I also have to avoid relatives and other people because they are usually under the impression that I am just lazy and that I chose to live this way. I don’t like to talk about my health issues since it’s a personal topic but when I do then they rarely understand that I can’t work and that these issues can affect my life negative in other aspects too. I have also been sexually, mentally and physically abused in my past. I’m sad. I feel as if I had just turned into an adult since I wasn’t able to work, drive, rent an apartment, pay bills with my salary yet. I don’t want advice or opinions. If you are around my age or older and in a similar situation then feel free to mention it.

Hey dude, just wanna say, ur not alone in this struggle. Life throws curveballs, and it’s okay to not have everything sorted out by 32, especially with health crap in the mix. The judgement of others can sting like a mf, but don’t let it define you. Your worth isn’t measured by your ability to follow societal expectations. Take it one day at a time, we’re rooting for ya. ๐Ÿ‘Š Keep your chin up!

Man, I’m really sorry you’re going thru all of this. Life deals us some rly shitty hands sometimes, no denying that. But you’re here, you’re surviving – that ain’t no small thing. IDC what anyone says, handling health issues and still getting up each day takes guts, a ton. You’re stronger than you think, bud. Hoping for better days for you, OP. Stay strong ๐Ÿ’ช.

Health challenges can feel isolating, but raising awareness and talking openly about both the physical and mental sides is so important. Building support systems and sharing experiences can really make a difference.

I’m really sorry you have had and have so much to deal with, and also that relatives and others are calling you lazy instead of showing compassion and empathy towards you. My life has been the same in a lot of ways. You are definitely not alone-am sending you a hug.

The feeling of having life on hold due to health challenges is truly isolating, and it’s completely understandable to feel sad and as though you’ve been robbed of the chance to fully step into adulthood. It’s a heavy burden to carry, especially when facing a lack of understanding from others who can’t grasp the invisible struggles you’re dealing with.
