How do you type? Genuine question, do you have adapted software/hardware for your computer? Or is it by voice?
I am so sorry about the accident, what happened?
What is your job in the finance industry? Do you generally use text to speech to type, and do you click on the computer using an eye-tracker? How does all that work?
Did you have your children before or after your accident?
What about your relationship with your husband has enabled your marriage to survive your change in circumstances?
How was rehab for you? What was the hardest thing for you? I watched a loved one go through rehab from a brain injury and even the smallest of things we take for granted you look at it.

How is your sexlife? Like dp you feel anything or how do you guys cope with that?
How have your children adjusted/responded to your disability?
How do you cope mentally after the accident?
Is there any sexual intimacy with your husband?
I am asking as my wife suffers from severe cervical spinal injury in the c3 region and has all symptoms other than paralysis from her injury, and she is in constant pain making all types of physical touching/intimacy nearly impossible.

What a hard road to travel. If there is one thing that you have learned, that has truly added to your life experience after the accident, what would it be?
How has your accident affected your body image and/or your mental health?
Hi there, one of my friends had an accident three years ago and is a quadriplegic too. The worst thing is the pain. He doesn’t know how to cope with the pain, it makes him very depressed. He doesn’t want to take opoids or cannabis because he likes to have a clear mind. How do you cope with the pain?
You rock! I work in stem cell research and hope that regenerative medicine will be available in 10-20 years to alleviate some of the struggles you and others have.
What do you enjoy most in your non-corporate life and what area of finance do you like the most?
How long did it take you to fully process this ?
Thank you so much for your quick reply! I don’t think he consulted different doctors. We do not live in the States. The health system is for free here but therefore, you have to always ask for any information, really exhausting, even for someone who doesn’t have a disability. Right after the accident, after he was extubated, they sent him to rehab but this is 3 years ago. He will be in another rehab soon. At home, the GP is responsible for any medication or referrals for ergotherapy or physiotherapy which he is doing twice a week. At the moment, he is handling the pain with a mix of oxycodon, cannabis and baclofen against spasms. But yes, good idea to consult different doctors to get multiple opinions. Thanks again!
So, just wondering about your career- there’s been so many developments in the industry over the years. Have you ever changed jobs? How did your employer, if you have one and you’re not self-employed, respond to your change in circumstances?
Also with respect to your career, how has changes in technology across the industry made things easier or worse for you? Are things like Bloomberg if it’s part of your world are there accessibility functions built into it that you can use for example?
Also, what are your career ambitions?
