How are you persuing it? Did you reach out to a labels? Did they found you?
Between rollercoaster and smooth sailing, how has the process been so far?
I hope it works out for you. I’m a big bluegrass fan, and like the “folk” group called “The Other Favorites”
Did you have another job and the singing was a side gig?
Best of luck. Who are your influences?
What do you do to pay the bills?
It’s never too late! Good on you!
Have you had any songs picked up by known artists? Is there a going rate for songs?
Why? and I don’t mean this to sound like a dick. But in this day an age you don’t need a record or publishing deal to get your stuff out there especially in your genre. Self publish, record your own music and put it out there.
Def get a tiktok
58 year old Rock musician here, I’ve been signed to 2 indie labels over the last few years and all I can say is keep at it if that’s what you want to do. The music industry isn’t what it used to be but maybe you’ll find some success and I wish you all the luck in the world. I’ve yet to see any money from any of the releases my band is put out but it’s nice to say we were signed!! Life is short, do whatever the hell you want
What’s your favorite folk song and why is it Alice’s Restaurant?
