Sorry… but isn’t a hotelier someone who owns or manages a hotel?

Do you ever have escorts working in your rooms? How obvious is it? Do you have some sort of ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ policy towards escorts as long as there are no disruptions?

“What do you mean I have to pay a bond? I’ve travelled extensively and have never been asked to pay this.”

“I booked on booking.com but I’ve called you to cancel my reservation”

“There’s bird poo on my window, I want a new room.”

    “The air-conditioning is too loud.”

“What do you mean we can’t sleep 10 people in our room?”

“I booked the cheaper day use rate but have decided to stay overnight, I expect the rate will stay the same.”

“I’m a loyalty member with another hotel group why can’t I get discounts here?”

“I stay here regularly booking system says you you last stayed here in 2015 I don’t appreciate having to wait in line for so long. I want to speak to your manager.”

If you’re in a small town, then you know who is cheating on who, right? When they’re “working”?

I read a novel about a hotel. I believe it was called….Hotel by Arthur Hailey. I remember them talking about a room that everyone knew was trash. Loud, uncomfortable, not nice, etc. It was the sort of thing that front desk knew would cause a complaint as soon as they gave it to someone.

Is this a thing in any hotel? Do you give it to lousy people?

Why, when I get two cards for my door, does one always never work?

Also, how should I approach dirty dishes, empty food containers, etc. when I have consumed room service or ordered in? Is it cool to stick or out the door? Should I call to have it taken away?

    Thank you 🙂
