I don’t have a question. Im in public health and feel your pain. Everything sucks right now. I guess, are you doing anything to cope?

Where do you sit on the mosquito gene drive question? Do you think it’s worth wiping out disease carrying mosquito species or do you think it would cause worse problems elsewhere ecologically than the disease burden it would solve?
What would you do if you loose your job? Try to find similar positions or explore different options?
I work for a non profit and one of our research grants got suspended, they literally send us a letter saying that they suspended the research because it’s not important. Research is focused on HIV in black and Hispanic population. It crushes my soul.
