Yeah it’s a bit of a bugger. We have the NHS for free healthcare but it can be insanely slow. Thank you for your advice

What’s the best way to quash negative thoughts?

It’s something I never had before and having trouble ignoring it

How do you feel about the growing number of people seeking mental health advice from ChatGPT?

Thank you for all your help in the lives of each individual.

How do you not become emotionally invested in a client’s story and start crying and stuff?

With telehealth becoming so prominent I’ve gotten wary of the quality of mental health care. Though the volume and ease of attaining sessions for the general public has been better with telehealth, do you think that effective therapy suffers without interpretation of body language and unfiltered face to face interaction?

First thank you for all you do! Do you enjoy it? Is it difficult to detach your personal life from work? How to you maintain your own well being? I’m really interested in pursing this type of work I just have a lot of questions!

What are your thoughts on there actually being a cure for mental health issues in terms of medicine or really the 1st step is acceptance by the patient and family members?

Are you worried about AI and future prospects? I’m studying to be a psychotherapist and slightly concerned with how common it is for people to seek mental health advice from chatgpt

For years i have not been able to dream, have very short memory as in i have to strain myself to remwmber what i had to eat few days prior or what i did, and cant visualize in my head, any ideas how to fix or would seeing a therapist help find a cause and fix, almost certain it comes from.childhood trauma

My therapists have all given up on me because I chronically want to die, no matter what. I find it hard to live with these debilitating thoughts too. I just don’t have the courage to execute them, so i remain in this limbo – being here, but not wanting to be here. .I really don’t want any life advice, but just how to navigate severe and chronic SI.
