I’m in love with a friend of mine

I’m in love with a friend of mine.

She’s the sister of a friend I met online years ago. We are close and frequently talk, and one day she invited her sister to play with us.
Since then, we started playing games, and at the end of the last year we started talking more and sending each other a lot of memes, cat videos, and cool stuff in general.

Some months ago, we started to get to know each other more profoundly, and since then we talk via text, play games and watch movies on discord everyday. We also sent each other presents for our birthdays.

I have her as a dear friend of mine, that I truly admire and want to cultivate the friendship for as long as she lets me.

She’s such a great person. Intelligent, insightful, thoughtful, has the perfect sense of humour and is very beautiful. She has the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen, she doesn’t even need to smile to captivate someone.

The problem is, I really like her but I don’t know if she likes me in a romantic way. Also, she lives in another state and I know this complicates things, even though my profession allows me to live in another places.

I’m thinking about telling her but the last thing I want is that our friendship changes or even ends. I’m truly terrified this will happen, so I need some advice from you guys!
