Him and I split because we had substance issues and I got clean and he still won’t. However despite that, he’s my best friend, makes me feel safe and comfortable. He makes me laugh and he makes my soul hungry… but I know he’s no good for me. He won’t get clean and that’s dangerous for me. But oh the life we could have together if he just pulled himself out of the mud.
