I’m looking for a good lip stain (a pinup red and neutral pink) but I am so late to this that I feel sort of lost. What brands do you like best? I’m not looking to invest a whole paycheck but I can also afford to drop a bit of money if it’s a good product.

I quite like the Kulfi Lassi Lips. They’re very balmy and comfortable for a stain, and they have some great colours, like First Sari. They’re not as long lasting as some other lip stains, but they sit far more nicely on the lips.
I also have some from Mecca Max and from Rom&nd (the Glasting Melting Balm) to be exact. Those two have similar formulas and are also solid choices.
