I get it. He’s fine. He’s funny. He’s talented. But that doesn’t mean he needs to be everyone. Disney passed up David Tennant as Mr. Fantastic in favor of him, which is just a terrible decision. He’s in The Materialist. He’s in Eddington. He’s in The Last of Us. The Mandalorian and Grogu, Gladiator 2, the list just goes on. I remember when a big role would pigeonhole an actor forever, and I don’t think that’s a good thing, but I also think that new blood is necessary, or at least some variety. Like, I’m sure I’d love to get a drink with the guy if I met him in person, but let’s see some more of other incredibly talented actors. Idris Elba, Hugh Jackman, Tobey Maguire, even if you’re dead set on using a big name actor, there are names that we haven’t seen in a while, and I would like to. But again, I want to see new faces altogether.

I liked him a lot in Prospect. Probably my favorite movie with him.
I agree. It’s very forced now.
Yeah, I hate the trend of where an actor has a breakout role and does well, we see him appear in absolutely everything. He’s a good actor, but it reaches the point where it breaks immersion because I dont see the character, I see Pedo Pascal.
Typo… you meant The Rock
Pedro very much insist upon himself and it’s very tiring
This has been posted twice in the last month.
Unpopular opinion but I am sick of seeing Pedro threads here
Pedro is a good dude and a helluva actor. Sure he’s becoming over saturated, but I can’t say he’s put in a poor performance. Still giving A effort and not dialing it in so I’ll tolerate it.
He’s not fine. He’s not funny. He’s not talented.
There should really be a rule against posts that boil down to “I don’t like the Famous Guy of the Year.”
It’s low effort and obvious that celebrity burnout exists.
I’m not.
I’ll take him over Kevin Hart’s annoying, unfunny ass any day of the week.
Actors that can get a lot of people to watch the stuff they’re in get to work more. Sorry, that’s the way the biz works.
Then stop watching his movies. I cant recall any movies I watched that have him in it. Also lmao Hugh Jackman got the same treatment youre complaining about.
>Disney passed up David Tennant as Mr. Fantastic in favor of him
Good.
He’s hilarious on SNL.
It’s a take that’s been posted many times online. You’re not alone thinking his fame is too much for the actor he is
real. ❤️ Dave
I dont think this is unpopular. Which is ironic, considering how many people are missing him from the last of us lol.
Close your eyes.
I love him but I’ve also not been going out of my way to watch things he’s in because, yeh, he’s been the man of the hour for more than an hour now.
Meh, he’s cool and got the chance to earn serious cash later in life. Let him make hay while the sun shines
I’m sick of seeing repeated posts of the exact same thing mentioned
Were you planning on watching The Materialists and Eddington? Cos some people just be saying shit.
