I’m unable to show up to court and pay the traffic ticket. What do I do?

Location: Ohio

As the title says, I can’t make it to court today and I’m not able to pay the ticket today. I’ve been feeling ill for the past couple days now but I was kicked out yesterday so I had to put my little money into a shabby motel. I tried to call the court clerk this morning but they ran me around in circles. Told me to pay or show up. I even tried getting a payment plan set up and they couldn’t get it figured out and proceeded to tell me to just show up or pay the ticket. What do I do? I’ve been crying for the past hour and I’m so stressed out.

Btw, this ticket is for expired plates. Thank you all again in advance.
