In Love But Unfulfilled, I (M52) have been with my missus (F48) for almost 27 years

I (M52) have been with my missus (F48) for almost 27 years. Now, don’t get me wrong… I love her with all my heart and am not planning to leave over this… but although we have a kind of active sex life, it’s never been very satisfying for me. Before we met, I would have sex multiple times a session for hours and it was very energetic and varied. And when we first got together we did, but she would complain that it made her sore. It kind of confused me because I’m not the biggest down there, probably on the smaller side of average. Now, I loved foreplay! I loved going down on her and tried to make sure that she was ready, but she doesn’t seem to enjoy that either… well, not that she doesn’t enjoy it, it’s that she gets very sensitive and wants to “get to the sex bit” quite quickly, while I preferred to take my time. I have very sensitive nipples, and I made the mistake of telling her, now when we have sex, if she wants me to cum she just starts playing with my nipples and that’s pretty much all she wrote. Now, at my age I probably couldn’t go multiple times a session even if I wanted to, but I do miss the more adventurous sex and foreplay I had before I met her. Any advice for an old man in love but unfulfilled?

Have you spoken to her about how you feel? sometimes it’s good to get an opinion on the whole thing from her as-well, ask to try some new things during sex. It’s good that you adore her and want her to feel pleasured as-well but maybe she has something else in mind sexually? Hope this helps

Talk to your wife. Go from there.

Soreness happens from her not being wet enough and you continuing to create friction, for multiple sessions. As for the rest, I’m unsure how to help.
