I want to talk about something that caught my attention. It’s about the « Wizard Liz drama». Honestly, I don’t understand why it became such a big deal that a shallow, attractive ( with doctor’s help) girl got cheated on. Some people made it this huge issue just because she’s pretty, like being hot is what defines your worth. So what, if someone’s attractive, they’re supposed to be immune to being cheated on?
To be clear, I don’t support her ex and he definitely acted like a total jerk. But what really bothers me is how obsessed people are with looks. It’s like we’ve reached a point where beauty means your life, especially your love life, should be perfect. Personally, as a gay man, I find that incredibly shallow. Character should matter more than appearance.
Honestly out of curiosity I checked her youtube channel bc I haven’t hear her of before. So her worldview is honestly ridiculous. She talks about manifesting and astrology like it’s deep wisdom, and yet her fans treat her like some kind of goddess all because she has big lips? I mean, I have green eyes
should people worship me too? To sum it up, she comes off as kind of misandrist bc on one hand, she talks about empowering women, but at the same time, she expects men to provide everything for them and that they deserve the princess treatment lmao. If a man made the same comments about women he would be stoned to death.
Anyway, I was just bored, and this whole influencer obsession kind of got to me. Goodnight and I hope I won’t get death threats.

Remember…. No matter how hot she is, someone out there is sick of dealing with her shit
I would like to think majority of people can agree that influencers are shite, but I could be wrong
What a dense take. She has a whole career about giving advice and empowering other people. She is adored because she is a good person.
The fact you even know whose these ppl are is the problem imo
This isn’t even close to Unpopular. Sounds like you just wanted to vent about her.
Prob one of the things I hate most about our times. Wish doctors and teachers got that much attention
If you’re talking about these shallow, vapid, worthless people– even to shit on them– you’re part of the problem.
“Influencers” should be ignored. Don’t give them the attention they so desperately crave.
You definitely just hate women. It’s a not big deal because she’s stunning, it’s a big deal bc she’s specifically known for giving solid advice on relationships, being adept at seeing through manipulation, and was still duped by a mediocre man that never deserved her to begin with.
Add to that the way he relentlessly pursued her, won her against all odds, convinced her to marry him, knocked her up and then waited until the moment she could no longer get an abortion to cheat. It seems incredibly calculated. It seems cruel. It seems like an incel man tricked a women with a bright future into being baby trapped by a man that not only never loves her, but actively wishes her harm.
Women don’t wish death upon men like you, that’s just projection. The only thing we wish is for you to leave us ALL THE WAY ALONE. It’s beyond weird you’re so upset about other people’s feelings. What happened was horrid and god forbid people have some compassion or empathy. Maybe use all that woman hating energy to put effort into yourself and you wouldn’t be so blatantly bitter.
I don’t even know who you’re talking about and honestly, the one thing more boring than “influencers” are the people who talk/care about them
i get your point but this post really reads misogynistic. please remember that even though you’re a gay man, you’re still a man and can’t just say whatever hateful things about women in the defense that you’re gay so it’s okay
People who care about this type of shit don’t have actual problems
Who even is this person?! 😆
I agree. These female empowerment YouTubers such as WizardLiz, Jasmine Tan, Manifestelle are just as sexist as the Alpha Male Podcast Bros. You shouldn’t have to bring down one group in order to uplift another.
Who is Wizard Liz?
… having watched posts get killed by the mods, and having a couple of mine spiked, I’m quite curious as to why this much less than unpopular opinion is live.
I don’t know those particular influencers, but I find it ridiculous as well, that some people who seem to have nothing to offer, but their looks, have huge followings on social media.
I really like true crime. A few years back, there had been a very twisted and evil case, that happened in my country – A young woman was murdered by her boyfriend, his mother, his affair and a friend of his affair’s brother, because the mother had taken out several life insurances on her. They attempted to kill her twice before, but failed. I dove into it. I found a youtuber, who made a video about it and I was curious, because I thought she might have some insights, I haven’t heard about yet.
Turned out, she not only didn’t have anything new to add, she didn’t even do proper research and got a lot of the facts wrong. Also, at the beginning of the video, she apologized profusely for quite a while for having a bad hair day, even though her hair looked perfect. I looked at the comments and, sure enough, people told her how great she looked.
I felt utterly disgusted by her using the extremely tragic death of someone only to fish for compliments and likes and, of course, by the simps who provided those compliments and likes.
@women who want women to be empowered, but then also want men to finance them and cater to their every wish:
They want to have their cake and eat it.
Real feminism is about equality for women and men. It’s definitely not about women doing cherry picking.
I’m glad people are slowly realizing that these people are simply using you so that they can have their desired lifestyle. It’s dramatically worse than obsessing over your typical “Celebrity”. People are worshiping “a dude just like you in his living room with a camera and the desire to make content”.
It’s great to admire and honor people who deserve it. These people you speak of are hungry for fame and fortune and real talent/creativity is not as common as you think.
