Is interested in guns is normal?

so, im a teenager and im interested in guns. Is that normal? Just wondering what other people think.

Sorry, im not native speaker, my English is bad 🙁

Edit : In my country, guns are illegal to normal civillian. Don’t worry about it.

    I think it’s normal, people are interested in all sorts of things. Obvisouly don’t have any bad thoughts in your head ever with a gun, just go to a shooting range perhaps for fun.

    I earlier this year got really really interested in bows and I want to learn how to shoot a bow. I don’t want to hunt or anything so there is no actual reason for me to learn this but it’s something I’m interested in so I might buy a bow and some practice dummies/wood, perhaps take a class.

    Nothing wrong with having a hobby. Just so long as you’re not trying to hurt anyone with it

    Definitely normal. I go online and customize guns that I want to buy eventually lol

    completely normal, just as being interested into cars, books, movies, videogames, and many many other hobbies you can come across

    as long as it doesn’t interfere with your life or perception of life

    Guns are “cool” in the same way watching explosions/fireworks, driving a really fast car, skydiving, and many other niche hobbies are cool. As long as you’re looking/using at guns as an interesting tool/source of fun (in a safe way) and not as weapon for hurting people then there is no reason to be concerned.

    I love firearms but hate the idea of them being used to harm innocent people. Unfortunately there are people in the world that would attempt to harm others and firearms are (debatably) necessary in order to keep people safe.

    On the flip side they can be incredibly useful for use in hunting, animal defense, and for personal enjoyment.

    So as long as you don’t wanna use them in detrimental ways then I would say keep on with your hobby.

    Check local laws on firearms just incase your country doesn’t like you researching/owning guns.
