No, not just you. It makes me tut and roll my eyes everytime.
I know this person is from Brazil but I will say, I find people who live in America who try to preach at you unprompted to be incredibly annoying. I don’t understand how it would be possible to live in America and be unfamiliar with the concept of Christianity. It is literally everywhere in our society. Our currency says “in God we trust”. Kids say the pledge of allegiance every morning in school which includes “under God”. Our lawmakers CONSTANTLY bring up Christian morals/the Bible as justification for making laws. If I happened to get curious about religion, every single town in America has a building dedicated to learning about Christianity in the form of a church. If I am not into Christianity (I’m definitely not), it’s not because I’m not aware of it.
If he “defeated Satan” then why tf is every Christian I know still spiritually at war with him?? 😂😂😂
I personally find the entire idea of religion itself annoying because of the way these people behave.
It’s generally unpleasant to have to be around stupid people who do stupid things.
Fanatic beliefs are just another form of stupidity that gets under my skin 🤷🏻♂️
Religion is like a penis. It is fine to have one and even be proud of it. It becomes a problem when you start waving it around in public.
If Satan was defeated by Jesus, why is he always telling me to listen to Slayer and put my knob in the trifle?
I’ve been seeing those comments more and more. They’re annoying.
Whenever I come across Jesus freaks that won’t shut up about their religious faith, I tell them that I worship Satan (I don’t btw) and then sit back and enjoy watching them freak out. It’s hilarious.🤣
It’s really uncalled for especially when they think “the gays” are throwing their agenda in their face. Just a bunch of hypocrites
Where is the part in the Bible that Jesus defeated Satan? I would honestly like to read that.
Be kind, show loyalty, show love. Do no harm. There that’s my religion
Funny how the Bible says: live holly, so your neighbors see Christ through you.
Not; shove this down their throats so they get annoyed and never come to me.
This is why I stop practicing the constant have to shove this down peoples throats.
Not a hot take. Proselytizing is annoying AF.
No, it’s absurdly obnoxious and everywhere. Like a disease that has infected every platform capable of commenting on.
Let’s pretend I was on the fence. This nonsense would surely push me away not draw me in. Idiots making idiot comments that make their idot cause look even worse.
Not a hot take at all. It’s so gross and obnoxious.
As a religious person I dont think it’s a hot take at all. I don’t think anyone has ever been converted by the religious spamming, it probably pushes people away more than anything else anyway. So its a waste of time for the person doing the spamming, and the recipient.
It also comes across as very pedestalish. Im religious and therefore above you, you need to do what I say is right. Kind of thing.
The same people saying queer people don’t need to “shove it down peoples throats” are usually the ones preaching religion unprompted in my experience
(This isn’t intended as a slight on either community/demographic, just my own observation of the irony)
It’s annoying but this is a trend happening on tiktok where it’s only for views and likes even if the person posting the comment isn’t religious. It’s been going on for a month and I hate it lol
Loads of people shove their beliefs in everyone else’s face. It’s generally always annoying regardless of said belief or opinion
Wait until she finds out that the freedom of choice they say god gave us was actually given to us by the snake in the garden.
I have a friend that does this to me. I’ve made it pretty clear I don’t want to hear it. I’m kinda at a loss as to what to do about it
I’m pretty sure the Bible says not to do this
When i see these comments i tell that person theyre exactly the reason i left the church. And im a preachers kid. The sanctimonious bullshit is all they have and i hate it.
I disliked religion from early on, but I started to loathe it the older I get because of people like this. When I was a teen I went to the ER for an OD and instead of helping me or at least give me something for the pain, the doctor was telling me to pray and believe in god, then ignored me to talk to my mom about how her son was also atheist and now sings at church.
I can respect faith, even if I find it silly, I believe in some silly stuff too, but organised religion of ANY kind is something I hate with a genuine passion.
It’s like his the ones that shove it down your throat are doing it wrong, they are according to the Bible supposed to be a living example of what they believe. The problem is most say the words but fail when it comes to the actions. Most other than their own confession couldn’t show enough evidence to convict them of being Christians if it were illegal
If you believe in Jesus or God go to TT and look up Anna Grace. An 18 yr old who got a brain tumor and died.
No god or Jesus would allow that. If they did they are a fucking demon not good.
That’s literally how you know no one is watching over us. My family member- good guy never an enemy in his life does so much for others- randomly gunned down at work. Guy emptied a gun into him. He survived but endured 1.5 years of surgery and rehab not knowing if one of the surgeries would kill him.
God didn’t save him. He saved himself and suffered and endured.
Religion is an opinion.
People that shove anything in your face be it race, who they choose to sleep with, etc, are annoying.
Love how Christians can harass people all they want but if a Muslim or Jewish person did this, it’d be WWIII.
Ok. But he did that on his own dime because I certainly didn’t ask nor did I chip in on the budget. Don’t do shit for me I would have told you not to do then expect a pat on the back for it.
As a Christian,my father (who I no longer talk to) is just like this,we would go on vacation,go to the pool, the park,in line at Disney or a store and he would find anyone to go “preach to” ,he even wanted to “preach” on street corners ,these type of Christian’s annoy the sh*t out of me
(I no longer go to church, read my bible daily,or pray constantly like I was taught)
Its a hot take that religion as we know it shouldn’t exist in th first place
He says it like Jesus used his powers to save us from a meteorite dying in the process.
He was sold to the romans by a friend, and died because he was less popular than Barrabas, read your bible.
Christian here, yeah it can get annoying. It’s said we’re given a spirit of discernment, and a part of that is knowing when is a good time to share the gospel and when isn’t, and how to do it as well.
I’d rather he spread the gossip 💅🏽
Not a hot take. An objective truth.
Drives me up the wall and I’m not an atheist.
Fuck yeah, no more Satan. We can do whatever the fuck we want!!!
Maybe not my place to say as a nonbelieving person, but I think monotheists often fail to understand social etiquette on proselytizing. There is a fine line between sharing your take gently in a way that leaves them open to coming to you to ask questions out of sincere interest, and spamming in a way that feels more about your ego than concern from them. Subtle and sincere empathy vs obtuse narcissism. If they understood that they’d reach across the aisle more successfully. Wouldn’t work on me maybe, but it would on more people, and in general endear Christians or whoever more to those who believe other things.
