My husband was driving home the other day when the sirens in our city were going off. There was massive debris. Power lines, and light poles were shaking violently. He was trying to get home, but was worried about running red lights. (He didn’t run any)
So, my question; if there are sirens going off for severe weather, increase in severe weather, or for a tornado, is it legal to run a red light as long as the driver is 100% certain that there are no other vehicles or pedestrians around? Ohio
