I’m flying to my home state with legit barely any money. I have enough money to get to a town 46 miles from where I’m trying to get but I won’t have any money to get a ticket over to my city (45$ for the bus there) maybe I can sell my laptop in the city I land and maybe get enough but my other option is walking the 46 miles. The only thing is I’m not able to bring any food and won’t be able to buy any drinks or food after I land so I’d have to go w/o the whole walk except for one water bottle I have. Will I die? Or could I make it do y’all think? Lmk
Is it possible to walk 46 miles cross state?

People walked across the whole Oregon trail for opportunity; I’m sure you can manage 46.
As for whether you could make it the whole way without food and water depends on how hydrated you are and how the weather conditions are
My question is, what could possibly make this arduous journey worth it? Why can’t you wait until you can actually afford to go back?
Which states, and what time of year? Arizona in the summer wouldn’t be fun.
Is hitchhiking still a thing?
Sure, or you can hitchhike.
I’m trying to be certain it won’t be too bad cuz I don’t wanna end up like the mfs on “I shouldn’t be alive”
Do you not have anyone that could come get you? It sounds like you’re in a really difficult situation not only financially…but all aspects and I’m sorry you’re going through this.
It does concern me if there is no one to help you get to where you’re going, where are you staying once you get there? Is there a support system in place for you there?
hitchhike or look on Craigslist or Facebook for a rideshare
46 miles is a strong 2-day walk depending on how much your carrying and how. Is it possible? you bet. Will it be difficult? You bet.
But, realistically, you have other options. 46 miles by car is easy peasy. Do you know anyone who could give you a ride? Hitchhike? Ask a friend for $45?
I’ve hitchhiked thousands of miles, mostly in Canada but a little bit in the USA
It’s a pretty straightforward process, and if you Google how to hitchhike, you’ll get some good insights on picking a location, making a sign, etc
45 mi would take days to walk. It’s an hour drive.
It’s a 15 hour walk. That’s a long way to go with out any food & only 1 bottle of water. Is there someone who could pick you up? Or pay the bus ticket? Any cheaper public transport options?
You cannot do it with not food or water. I also don’t know you personally, maybe you can’t make do it at all.
Can you skip the plane and get buses the whole way? Could you aim for another town? Why do you need to go there, do you have accommodation?
Man my advice would be to get all your documents in order, drivers license, social security card, birth certificate, etc. and apply for jobs that provide housing. Towboats, traveling contractors, oil rigs, etc. anywhere that you can get free housing. You’ll need a Twic card for a lot of this so go work washing dishes to pay for it.
