me and my bf are currently long distance (im 20 and he’s 21), been together for almost a year and he just sent me nsfw art and he apparently asked a friend to draw it for him yesterday and i really don’t know how i feel about it. cause i mean, i draw him a bunch of stuff too and we do send eachother nsfw stuff (usually art) we find online and be like ‘could be us’ but idk. i guess it’s the fact that there was somebody else he shared his fantasy with and that friend drew that for him and like, it just feels weird he’d share that with someone else? i guess to me it’s something very personal and i don’t really share it with anybody else besides him. cause he’s my partner lol
is this normal, am i making a big deal out of this and being totally insecure and controlling or is there anybody else who would find this weird as well? i really don’t know anymore haha anyways thanks for readinggg

To respond we need a bit more context..like the type of connection between them, how close they are and what was the subject of the draw
I’d imagine tone of the painting would matter as to whether anyone could say one way or another. For example, if it was “paint me like one of your French girls” done in jest, that’s one thing. Vs. I dunno, both bf and friend are into furries and the friend did a rendition of their avatar (forgive me, I’m not in the scene so I don’t know terms). Even then, that might not be that bad. I dunno, what it boils down to is how you feel and communicating that to your partner and hopefully they will understand and compromise if it bothers you.

You need to add more context to this post. Who is the friend to him and what exactly was drawn?
eh i draw and share nsfw art with my artist friends all the time. artists are just weird and open abt that sort of stuff i think, especially if theyre queer lol
