Is screaming “get some” considered good battlefield tactics?

r/

Is it generally considered tactically wise to stand up fully exposed to enemy fire and scream “get some” while spraying bullets on full automatic?

(just wondering because I’ve seen this in many movies, and it usually works.)

If it works in the movies it works in real life.

This is a joke question, but:

There’s actually some truth to yelling something while shooting. People are sometimes taught to shoot machine guns in bursts that take as much time as saying “get some”.
