Is smoking marijuana the reason of my bed rotting ?

r/

Hi I smoke marijuana daily a few times a day actual and I still go to work and try (key word try) to get things done. but my body physically just wants to be in the bed all day to just sleep, be on my phone and just to myself. I just want to know is it the reason of it because I was like this a little before I started smoking but it just became worse

Weed’s probably not the cause, but it’s definitely the accelerator. If you were already low-energy, daily smoking will just make that harder to fight

Try not smoking weed for a week and see what changes. That would give you an answer

I smoke daily. I do not have issues like this. I think maybe you have some other issues and the THC may be exacerbating them. Any drug, be it alcohol, THC, Xanax, etc can make other preexisting conditions worse.

I smoke near- daily and would consider myself to be very active (surf 4+ times a week and play soccer at least once) and get a ton done at work. It’s probably not the cause, but it could be an enhancement to an already established habit.

It’s possible? I would try to take a week or two off of smoking and see. That doesn’t really happen to me, you might just be depressed. However when I’m depressed weed doesn’t really help things

Yeah you should quit or lower usage or change time of day you smoke. You’d be amazed.

Thc gives me energy, people often think I’m using stimulants because of it. But too much use and I get burnt out and am always tired.

Try a different strain. Ask for something that wont knock you on your ass.

It hits everyone differently. Only way to know is to abstain for a few months (start with 90 days and see how you feel). A week isn’t enough for your dopamine to come back to normal levels.

I smoked daily for 5 years my dependency for weed was ADHD related apparently since I got on medication I haven’t smoked a single time (June 1st) although weed made me a lot more lazy I still enjoyed waking up 7 am in the morning went to Pilates and came home walked the dog cooked and ate and cleaned. It’s about habits and mentality. Try to smoke after you do things that are important for you. Whatever you want to get done try to do those things first thing in the morning and when you smoke later during the day you can rot in the bed as much as you want.

A few answers here beating around the bush. The simple answer is likely yes. It’s probably the root cause, but there’d be other issues to also address. Stopping weed would be the first thing I’d do, and a lot of the time the rest with resolve itself unless therapy is required.

Sounds like your depressed, or maybe your smoking ditch weed and not the kind bud? That shit will make you sleepy.
