I own 5 acres, with trees blocking the view of my neighbors. I like to suntan naked in my backyard (not visible from the road or neighbor’s houses). However, my neighbor owns land on 3 sides of me that he uses for recreational purposes and has an easement across my land to access a field behind my property. This is despite the fact this property is not landlocked and he could also access it from the road but my property used to be in his family and he’s used to using an old farm lane on my land. The neighbor comes to his land on the weekends and stays in a camper down the road but drives across my land to play in his four wheelers in the back field or cut firewood. I’ve talked to him about his use of the easement and asked if he could drive around since the easement comes within 30 ft of my house but he was not agreeable. I’m annoyed and considering just ignoring him and suntanning naked whenever I feel like, whether he’s using the easement or not. My only concern is that he sometimes has his kid with him and I don’t particularly want to expose myself to a kid. Any other options to discourage his use of the easement? I feel like I should be able to use my own property as I please.

Maybe just ask the neighbor if you can buy the easement back. After all, he doesn’t need it.
Why do you think that’d stop him?
Laws vary. What country/state are you in? Are you in an incorporated city?
Helicopter when he’s coming he will leave
Speak to a real estate attorney in your area. They can give you the best advice
Where do you live? In Germany, no one would bat an eye if you were sun tanning naked, being they sauna naked with friends and family. Try that in Utah, and the Mormons will sick a bishop on you
Not sure what country you’re from, but let’s assume the U.S.
That’s a tough one since this easement sounds like it has been in place since before you bought the property, so you should’ve, hypothetically, known what you were getting into.
Given the potential exposure to minors from your nude suntanning, he may actually have more of a right to drive on that farm lane than you do to tan naked in this scenario. It may feel like a restriction on your rights to using the land… but it’s a legally binding restriction that it sounds like you’ve either agreed to, or agreed to purchase the property under those conditions.
Other than speaking with him or trying to offer something in return for abolishing the easement, not sure what you’ve got for options here.
That just sounds like you’re sexually harassing your neighbors to stop them from using an easement they legally have access to. So, that’s very illegal.
Instead of tanning naked, could you not build a wall/gate/fence or something to stop him getting through?
Other won’t care and you’ll be on the net
Are you hot?
M or F?
What about hidden spikes? Something that’ll pop his tires and severely inconvenience him? Something that gives u deniability.
You bought the property this way. That’s pretty clear. It is what it is.
Plus, quit sunbathing. Melanoma and all.
Omg, nooooooo, not a naked body! 🙄
You’re probably best off trying to buy him out of the easement. You would have to look into your local laws around nudity. If you’ve got your junk out when he’s driving by with a kid and they take issue you might end up with an unwanted sex offender sign in your yard to go along with the easement.
It depends how nasty you want to be. You could try putting cameras up along the route and staring at him through binoculars each time he passes by. You could erect an altar to Baphomet. You could get an “accidental” infestation of goats head weed. Or you could could just build yourself a nice sun deck with paladin curtains and the top open to the sky.

just put up a ‘nude zone: enter at own risk’ sign and call it a day. if he keeps coming through, that’s on him
An easement is an easement. You can’t do anything other than try to buy it back. There’s nothing stopping your neighbor from using it if he’s so inclined.
If you want to try harder than that, you should consult with a lawyer – who will probably give the same answer and bill you for it.
You able to fence and gate your property so they can’t access the road on your land? Thinking requesting he not access his own land has him all barred up so logical discussions are now off the table as he’ll have a point he has to make regardless of anything (sadly).
He’s legally entitled to use it. You’re not legally entitled to take actions that would intend to prevent him from using it. You might not get into criminal trouble, but you could get yourself into a whole bunch of civil trouble.
Be sure you’re sunning that asshole.
If your neighbor owns the easement, then it’s their property to do with as they please. It’s just inconvenient for you that it’s as close to your house as it is, but you were aware of it when you bought the property. Suck it up.
