He’s not a member of a species, he’s a magic creature. He’s the Lorax. He’s like the Loch Ness monster. He doesn’t have a birth certificate or a social security number and hasn’t been baptized so he doesn’t need a name. His job is “Environmental Advocate (self-employed)”

He’s an anthropomorphic concept. He appeared one day speaking for the trees and he disappears when there’s no more trees to speak for. His species, name, job, and purpose are all one and the same.

I though it was his name which is also his species because he is the only one. Like Tigger.
