I’ve been talking to this girl for a bit, we met on Tinder, she’s 18 and I’m 20. She turned 18 a few months ago and I’m turning 21 at the end of the year, so it’s like a 2.5 year gap. My past relationships were with a woman my age and a woman 3 years older. I started school pretty early and skipped a grade and I’m an incoming senior this year and have a clerk job in an office, and she’s an incoming freshman in community college, most of my peers are 22-23 in my year. I also did 2 years at community college and transferred, having just wrapped up my first year of real college. We both live at home with our parents. Is that age gap bad? I’m concerned and don’t know if I should keep talking to her. I really like her and think she’s cute and intellectual, but I don’t want to be taking advantage of a bad situation. I’m not big on drinking, though she likes to. Would it be wrong to go out with her? My friends are split, some say it’s no big deal and others say the experience gap is a lot.
