Location: Massachusetts but I live in Arkansas
I was in Massachusetts visiting grandparents on vacation. I originally live in Arkansas. I went on Facebook marketplace and attempted to buy some electronics from an individual and he wanted to meet at 9pm at night. I agreed because it was in a lit parking lot. When my wife and I arrived, the individual smelled heavily of weed and alcohol. When I asked to take a look at the stuff he was selling, he pulled out a pocket knife and said “do you want it or not?”I got in my car and drove away.
I left a marketplace review for this person that stated what happened about his smell and him pulling a knife on me. This was about a month ago. Fast forward to today, he messages me on my Facebook and says I need to remove it or change my review of him and that it’s slander of his character and he’s been a Boston police officer for twenty years. He also said he took screenshots and if I don’t remove it he’ll report it and take further action against me.
A few hours go by, I didn’t reply, and he sends my wife a similar message telling me to remove the review or change it or he’ll take legal action against me. Ex
What legal ground, if any, does he have it the review was nothing but the truth?

He has no viable legal grounds if the review is accurate
“Truth is an absolute defense.” One of the first things every law student learns in First Amendment. Keep all your correspondence. He has zero legal grounds to pursue this.
