Woke up with a really sore mouth and tongue. Brushed my teeth and noticed that my gums were sore too. Throughout the day, I noticed that the inside of my cheeks and my gums were sloughing off in little bits. Started to panic that it was some strange gum disease or plague, and Dr Google seemed to back this up. Then I remembered absolutely demolishing a big bag of prawn cocktail giant Wotsit crisps the night before. They were so deliciously vinegary and tangy, and made my mouth really tingle. Fairly sure I actually gave myself oral acid burns and I don’t have a rare fungal mouth plague.
Also I’d totally do it again, zero regrets, they were delicious.

You can Google a hang nail and boom, flesh-eating bacteria. Google a head ache, and you have some rare tumor that’s only been seen in people from the Pacific Island, Tokelau.
