If it’s any consolation, I have never once looked at anyone’s feet, let alone judged them for how they look. My mom has killer hammer toe, which I have inherited. My husband has a really funky big toe nail due to an old hockey injury. We all rock sandals all summer long. If someone wants to look that closely at my feet they’re welcome to gawk.
I let my hobbit feet out every summer. No one cares.

i have a palm sized scar on top of my left foot from an incident 10+ years ago, it changes color based on being cold or hot.

Yes! If it helps, just get a pedicure if you can. I only get them like 2-3x a year and try to maintain my feet in between lol. But mine look terrible too, emerging from winter…
I had an old roommate who used to say she had alien toes and rocked it by painting them neon green and drawing aliens on the toenails.

They can’t be that bad? I knew a lady once who lost all her toenails from a pedicure in Mexico, and she STILL wore sandals – just painted the beds. Couldn’t even tell unless she pointed it out.

Everyone thinks their own feet are gross. Nobody else really cares though. Unless your feet are wildly deformed or absolutely disgustingly dirty or visibly diseased, nobody is going to notice your ties at all.
I have been told my feet are cute but meh I’m like whatever I hate my nails so I get them done cute colors all summer and wear gladiator sandals that cover the nails hehe

I was in a similar situation to you when I was in my very early 20s but over something very trivial and stupid now I look back! I always wanted to wear perfume but I’d got it into my head that people would smell the perfume, look round and see me and think “why’s that ugly cow wearing perfume for? Does she think it’ll make a difference?!”! Honestly it took so long for my boyfriend to convince me to wear some and you know what? Years later, nobody has ever said anything to me and I never go out without perfume on!
Take a deep breath and stick them on for a short run to the shop or something one time and you will see what I mean. Then the more you wear them, the more you will build up confidence to continue wearing them.
