I got a text from my JNGma a while ago with a photo of a young woman captioned “This looks like you.” When I showed it to my dad, and asked if he knew who it was/if it was anyone in his family, he said that he thought it might be her when she was younger. I genuinely felt so gross about it. Then I felt guilty about the gross? It’s not like she’d ugly or anything, not at all, but I genuinely think I dread the idea of looking like that woman. I feel sort of bad about it, but I really do. I don’t put much stock in it, though, because I’ve had other people say I look more like my mom (Her DIL). Am I being Rude/ feeling this way/Overreacting about it? I haven’t said that to her, or anyone, obviously, I wouldn’t do that.
