My husband and I (26M, 28F) moved into my MIL’s house temporarily while we look for jobs in a new state and I finish up my degree. My BIL (31M) and my husband’s grandmother also live there. None of them have jobs so everybody’s home the entire time.
They have 4 dogs. One is 17 years old and has incontinence issues so I understand why she goes inside the house. It’s annoying and disgusting but I also can’t blame her. The other dogs are less than 6 years old but they also go inside the house because nobody takes them outside.
It’s only day 2 since we moved in and I’ve already cleaned up dog piss about 5 times, picked up dog shit like 3 times, and just this morning found dog piss on the fabric couch. I also mopped and vacuumed the floor and it was so disgusting because there was dried dog piss all over the floor. Don’t get me started on how disgusting their bathtub and kitchen were. I’m about ready to spend $1500 on a flight to my home country and stay with my parents because I can’t take this anymore and it’s only been 2 days.
