I’ve been dealing with on-and-off testicular pain and what felt like a “dislocating” testicle for a while. After seeing multiple urologists, one finally diagnosed me with intermittent partial testicular torsion — basically, the testicle twists slightly and then untwists on its own, causing pain but not always cutting off blood flow completely.
I just had the surgery about 30 minutes ago (orchidopexy) to stitch the testicle in place and prevent it from twisting again. I’m currently recovering — AMA.

You’re lucky you didn’t lose that testicle from torsion.
Been there. Done that. Don’t recommend!
My balls were like big black oranges after mine. Was around 8 hours by the time I was going to theatre after the twist, was told it usually takes 6 hours until it’s dead and needs to be removed but I got lucky. Worst pain ever, vomiting with the pain and morphine didn’t touch the sides. I got given a nice string vest style banana hammock with a hole for your doinger to hang out though so that was nice. Walking like John Wayne for a week.
How bad is the pain afterwards?
I’ve had a torsion and thankfully healed on its own ! Doesn’t sound like a fun operation best of luck healing!
Had that in middle school. Hurt like hell.
Not a question, just relating to the pain. Before I had my balls chopped off I had nerve pain in one of them and that shit kinda sucked, if I’m being so real with you lmao
