Keep MIL away from life

r/

I’m 33M and married for couple years now. Wife and I get into constant arguments as m MIL is leading our married life. My wife doesn’t take this seriously and I keep telling her that whatever decision taken it has to be you and me. Everything my wife does had to be approved by Mil and it’s pretty annoying.

For example: if we are planning a trip in US, I would confirm the plans and by the time I’m back from office my wife starts sharing other sets of ideas. ( Wife is not working btw and makes no effort to get a job).

This constant state of back and forth is annoying. How are you guys dealing with this.
