My newborn baby’s face staring up at me

I work in long term care and we had a fella move in after his wife passed away, he wouldn’t eat, barely drank and had no will to live. He son came in daily to visit with him and encourage him to eat. As I was answering a call bell and walked by his room, the door was open so I looked in. Not being nosy, it’s a habit to ensure no one is on the floor. My resident was in on his bed napping and his grown son was napping behind him in the same bed. He was the big spoon cradling his dad. The most wholesome thing to witness.

I used to work in a restaurant and an old couple would come in every day to share a sundae. They flirted with each other like they were still 16 years old. I don’t remember exactly how long they had been married as this was probably almost 10 years ago, but I remember it being a significant amount of time.

My daughter’s and husbands relationship. It’s so wholesome. I never had that with my dad so I just stare sometimes and take it in when they’re playing or just hugging.
I’m so happy for her lol

When I watched a stranger help an elderly woman carry her groceries up a flight of stairs. Just pure kindness, no expectation in return.

I used to be an English teacher at a boys’ middle school in S. Korea. There was a boy in one of my classes who was developmentally delayed. One time I had planned a game where the students at each table drew a random sentence and read it out loud, filling in a few blank words. When it came to the table the developmentally delayed boy was at, the other students had him draw the sentence, and then, as a team, helped him read the sentence out loud. The whole class cheered when he was able to do it.

My parents (married since 1963). Holding hands . We were all out to brunch (their three children including myself, spouses and 6 grandchildren), and went for a walk afterwards as the restaurant was on a river. I took a candid photo walking behind them as we walked along. There they were all dressed up and holding hands sauntering along, with their kids and grandkids behind them.

Theres these 2 little twin girls that I took care of since they were newborns. I have no clue why I bonded so much with them but I did. Throughout the years Ive seen them around town and we always say hi and hug and I buy them things if I can. Just snacks and toys. Last year they were staying with my family and I was asleep for work(nighshift) when I woke up they handed me handwritten notes saying “Love you Jay have a good day at work”
I love those little girls 💖 theyre like the daughters I never had

I am a retired Fed. I was a responder to Katrina (the hurricane that hit New Orleans in 2005). We had evacuees in a shelter in another city. A man was hospitalized, then released a couple of days later to a shelter I was visiting. It was about 2 in the afternoon, so between meals. The man hadn’t eaten all day, and we were attempting to get him something to eat. Chef comes out from the kitchen, we discuss the situation.

Chef: I got this. Sir, what would you like? I will fix whatever you want.
Evacuee (in a very tired, meek voice): would it be too much trouble to have a hamburger?
Chef: I will fix you the best hamburger you’ve ever had!

With all the crap that everyone was going through, it was so nice to see a few acts of kindness.

I was at a local play joint( you know the kind midsized towns have, go carts, arcade, bowling etc) we were at a claw game that had stuffies and I wanted a care bear. It was four sided and people quickly came and went but one group in particular was camping out and I count get on it and told my group I didn’t want to leave til I had a chance. They never moved and it was really time to go so I said next time. This little girl maybe 11-13? Came to up to me and handed me the bear I was eyeing. She said I heard you say you wanted this one so I played until I got it for you. Man when I say I shocked and very pleased. Gives me hope for the younger generation.

My elderly neighbor who is battling cancer brought me Mother’s Day lunch as a thank you for some help with his appointments. I heard my two young daughters yelling “I love you” and him say “gosh do I love you guys too” as he left. 🥹

One that always comes to mind is when I worked at a grocery store. Someone’s card wasn’t working or something so they had to leave empty handed. As he was walking away, the 2 women in line behind him (strangers to eachother too) just looked at eachother, and barely said anything before one of them ran off to get the guy and the other said they’d pay for his order. It was like $70 worth of stuff too.

One of my favourite things about my partner is how it seems like whenever were out, if I turn my back for a minute, I’ll turn back to find him helping out or befriending staff or the elderly. We went to an indoor-outdoor wedding. At some point I see him randomly helping a staff member at the venue to carry a settee so far off, I lost sight of them (it was starting to rain).
We went to see Les Mis while on vacation. I thought he was just beside me when leaving. Nope. We got a bit separated because he was offering to help an elderly woman up the stairs. She refused but they were cutely joking with eachother.

A lot ,I am easily impressed but nothing gets me like a baby’s full belly laugh.

Honestly babies learning things, being smart or being stupid is content that makes my heart melt. I love children.

i think the fact that i wake up every morning and know than my lovers are okay and healthy. Also the fact that i’m in love with a person who also loves me, is the best thing i could experience

I’m very clumsy on top of being chronically ill. Between my partner and the “bar friends” we have (who would honestly drop everything to help if I asked), the amount of care and care I get when I do inevitably fall is astounding to me. In the moment, people will help me up, respect my space, check me over, and, even more amazing, remember my health issues and ask specific questions related to them to ensure that I’m really alright. Then my partner, after the hullabaloo has died down and/or we’ve left, will always go above and beyond to care for me.

Blows my mind daily how lucky I am that people I hardly know (other than my partner obviously) care enough to not only pick me up, but remember what to check for and look out for with me.

Saw a little boy give his balloon to a crying girl at the park, then just walked away like it was no big deal. Tiny act, huge heart

I just love seeing elderly couples snuggled up together. I was on a bus and a cute, elderly couple were just snuggled together, holding hands. At one point his back was against her front and she had her arm wrapped around him.

I was in show choir in highschool. We had a tradition around the holidays where we’d go caroling at local nursing homes. When they called the residents out at one nursing home, we all watched as the nurses scooted two chairs up next to each other then the sweetest couple sat in them. As we sang, the man held the woman close and sang along softly in her ear. Every girl walked out of there crying at the beauty of their love 💕

I was at the movie theater one day and saw an elderly couple in the theater with me. They held hands throughout the entire movie. Afterwards, he stood up and offered his hand to help his wife stand and wrapped his arm around her shoulder, and she leaned into him. I walked behind them as everyone was leaving, and I swear I could just feel how much they loved each other. He never once took his arm away, and they left the theater locked in that embrace. It was so simple and sweet 🖤

Not a lady, sorry, but something a lady friend talks about a lot: She had gotten a job at a factory and, due to health issues, could not eat during the day. A coworker noticed that she never brought anything and thought it might be due to financial troubles, so he packed an additional sandwich in his lunchbox and brought it for her. He was the first friend she had made in a workplace and it was really the first nice thing anyone had done for her in a long time.

So my husband is a big tough dude. Very stoic, very in-control of his emotions. I went to the psych ward last August, for three days. It was the first time we’ve ever been apart in the 7 years that we’ve been married.

The moment he saw me in the visitors room- he broke down crying and just held me. He told me how much he missed me in between kisses and told me how he hated the emptiness of our bed. He hated being alone and couldn’t wait for me to get out of there. He also brought me all of my clothes and hygiene products and included a note about how much he loved me, how our fur babies missed me, how brave I was to get help.

I love this man with all my heart. And it was so heartwarming to see how much he actually cared and that he missed me. Because he’s so stoic at times that I’m like “yeah he’d be fine without me” but he was an absolute MESS without me there. Idk it was just very sweet to see his reaction.

I work at a company where we often deal with clients and have to explain why our service is the best. It’s a fast-paced environment, and people are always focused on doing well and meeting goals.

One evening, I noticed one of my coworkers staying behind after hours. Her shift was over, but she was helping a junior colleague who was nervous about his first big presentation. She sat with him patiently, helped him go over his slides, gave him feedback, and kept encouraging him until he felt more confident.

The next day, he gave the presentation – and he did great. Afterward, he told her quietly, “I don’t think I could’ve done that without you.”

At first, it just seemed like a kind gesture. But over the next few weeks, I started seeing them talking more, laughing together, and grabbing lunch. They became good friends – and now they’re actually dating!!!

In a workplace where we’re always reasoning, convincing, and questioning others, that simple act of kindness and support stood out to me. I hope they get their happily ever after soon. It was one of the most wholesome things I’ve seen at work!!!
