I think to Drive a full sized pickup truck, and some of Very Large SUV’s (Grand Wagoneer sized) a special endorsement similar to the Motorcycle endorsement should be required. This endorsement should be removed after a few moving violations amd accidents. Also probably shouldn’t be available until 21 years of age. Bad and reckless drivers should be limited in the amount t of carnage they can cause.

The endorsement is called a “drivers license” and it can be removed after enough moving violations and accidents.
The worst drivers on the road are usually small Altimas and minivans tbh
“truck bad smol weiner” 🙄🙄🙄🙄
I think you should need special training to own a car, and a special endorsement in how to change tires and do oil checks, and you should not be able to rent a car with out these.
As for operational endorsements, small cars and all electric cars should require a special endorsement because those people seem to think that they own the road.
Agreed. Visibility is worse in modern pickups and SUVs, and the number of people I’ve seen not able to navigate a normal turn or a parking lot properly in these is insane.
However, I think it should be that if someone shows up to their driving test with it, they are given a modified exam for full sized trucks and automatically get that endorsement on a pass. But if someone gets a bigger truck later, they have to then do the modified practical.
lame and reposted opinion.
Why not have another license for sports cars or anything with more than 400 Hp? Those are more dangerous than a pickup. Really I just think a standard driver’s license should be harder to get and require more training.
