The title doesn’t make it sound that bad. HOWEVER, I’ve known this person for around 4 years and affirm him every time he asks about my age. (I say I’m 19, rather than 18). I met him online.
I’m flying interstate and we’re going out to a club tomorrow with all his friends who he’s told that I’m also 19. I’m overall just nervous about the security guard commenting on the age difference or them seeing my ID. Anyone have any suggestions to avoid going into the line with the group or avoid them seeing my ID?
I’m staying with him so it’s not like I can come to the club late or anything: we’d be going there together.
It’s been eating me up cause I feel so guilty about lying but I also feel like I’m too deep. He’s a year and a half older than me – so he’s turning 20 this year and my birthday has already happened… HELP.
We also aren’t in a relationship or anything but things have happened.. if it’s any justification he was in the year above me at school (because I was a grade up), so when I met him I just said I was that age (which I now deeply regret)
In Australia, legal club age is 18
TL;DR – lied about age and going to club tomorrow don’t know how to get away with it.

Not a big deal at all you’re over thinking it. There is barely a difference between 18 and 19.
Will the bouncer announce your age when looking at your ID?
Wby would the security guard comment about the age difference?
Flying to meet a man who’s expecting sex from you at age 18 is not smart. I would not go through with this if I were you. Make sure you have more than enough money to get yourself back and around the city on your own if need be.
