Have just got back from travelling Australia had the best 9 months of my life & want to go back & live there permanently.
However, I have to live at home for a little while whilst I build my savings back up. As soon as I got back my mum (44f) & step-dad (46m) have been pressuring me about my future plans & when I’ll be moving out again.
I have explained what I want to do but I feel like there’s just an atmosphere in the house at the minute. It’s kinda unbearable. I’ve not felt welcomed back at all.
I even landed a job interview within a week of being back but that doesn’t seem good enough either! Just feel a bit trapped. It’s not like I want to be at home either.
TL;DR Basically how do I get my parents off my back. Any advice on how to manage this situation would be greatly appreciated 🙂
