There’s not a single week where I don’t see a new collection, fashion jewelry pieces and the likes, i.e. all the hallmarks of fast fashion at a premium price. I understand that that’s the LVMH playbook, but still baffled that this brand that had been genuinely rooted in craftsmanship and traditions is becoming such a sellout.

Most people can’t relate to you buddy
While I agree 99.99% of folks don’t care. Gorgeous legacy brand that LVMH destroyed? Absolutely. Does anyone who isn’t into fashion even know who they are? Probably not.
Their stuff just looks like the Gap or Banana Republic with four zeros added to the price tag.
I can dye all of my clothes beige for free in my own home.
Wholeheartedly agree. I despise TikTok for the whole “old money” trend and the brands for capitulating to it. Zegna and Canali seem to still be doing okay. I’d never go to LP anymore unless it’s for cashmere. I hope another brand comes along with similar fabrics that won’t compromise quality for mass production.
