ls Mechatronics Engineering a good major for the future?

r/

I’m currently a student and considering majoring in Mechatronics Engineering However I’ve heard mixed opinions especially when it comes to job opportunities after graduation Some people say it’s too broad and lacks the depth to compete with specialists while others believe it’s the future due to the rise of robotics and automation
