Hi,
Lufthansa accepted my EU261 compensation claim for a delayed flight (Madrid-Frankfurt, 250€), but they refused to acknowledge any compensation related to a missed physiotherapy appointment caused by the delay.
They said I’m not entitled to anything beyond the standard amount. Is that correct, or is there a way to challenge this?

Airlines never compensate you for anything of that nature. They don’t have to, and it would be a huge costly mess if they tried. The other day someone on here claimed they missed an appointment that cost them a 100k business deal.
I have never heard of airlines covering expensive outside of delayed flights and in rare cases hotel costs.
You are far better off asking this at Europe or Germany legaladvice subreddits.
Over here, people are heavily focused on USA and US regulations for airlines are nowhere near as strict. Thus, advice that you’ll get in EU or German legal subreddit is far more likely to be relevant for you.
LoL is this a serious post? Shit happens, they don’t compensate you for missed appointments wtf
