So a few weeks ago, I was notified of an abnormal mammogram. Here’s my original post:

Today I went for needle biopsy. It did not go well. I passed out 2/3 of the way through. The Radiologist doesn’t think she retrieved sufficient tissue. They want me to come back for another one.
This evening, the bandage – which is enormous – has been bothering me. I go into the bathroom to look at it. Under my arm, the top corner is red. I think to myself, let me just peel the tape/bandage off a little bit to alleviate this discomfort. I figure I am allowed to remove it in the morning. This corner is far from the site. It peeled back my skin.
Now, not only does this area hurt like hell but there is no way I am attempting to remove it on my own. I have a morning full of meetings tomorrow and it all will have to wait while I go back there and have them deal with removing this bandage without further damaging me.
The Radiologist suggested I take an ativan before the second attempt. I really don’t know how I can go through this again.
