Man (M24) | (F29) am seeing cannot get hard enough for penetration

r/

I (F29) am dating a guy (M24) – it’s only been a couple weeks of romantic dating prior to that was just friends (7 years). I don’t usually date younger but I agreed to it because I knew him very well and we got on really well. I have been intimate with him a few times now – some sober and others not.
Everything is great and fun but he doesn’t get hard enough to be able to penetrate. He has only finished once when I gave him a hand job.
I have never experienced it before and would like to talk to him to see what is up and see what we can do to “fix” the situation. I just don’t know how to do it with care and not hurt his ego etc. How do I approach this?

I would suggest you google ‘death grip’ and consider whether porn addiction might be a possibility.

If you want my honest opinion, he romanticized the friendship with you. But I don’t think he’s genuinely attracted to you. But because he romanticized it he believes that he is.

Was he in a relationship shortly before you two started this? sometimes the brain doesn’t allow us to fully be in the moment because we cling on to many things from the past. I had the same issue some months back when I just broke up with my ex gf.

Assuming he masturbates, if he stops should be fine in a week or even days, especially at his age.

He likely knows this, though it’s can be much easier said than done, addiction is real and there’s a multibillion dollar industry designed to keep him that way, though it’s much much easier to quit when you have a significant other to “replace” it to be frank, so just keep bein supportive, and don’t worry it can be fixed.

If my assumption was wrong and/or all else fails, viagra does the trick

At his age, that’s not common. Could be nerves. Or bad health. Or a porn addiction.

Have him see a doctor. Try the pill a few times. Sometimes that’s all that’s needed to kick start the confidence and it’s not needed after that.

But if that doesn’t fix it….

He just sounds a bit nervous in my opinion. If that is the case, then just get comfy with eachother naked. Cuddle more without clothes on without the primary goal of doing the deed, and it might lead to it.

Could be a lot of things. Nervous, gooned to much, maybe not attracted… idk talk to him about it. Isn’t their pills for this type of thing.
